If only all service transactions could be this smooth... Called up Ty and left a message requesting a quote for some work towards the end of the work week. Got a call back early the next week with an apology for the delayed response. He was out to provide a quote within a day, and made a good first impression while he was there so I agreed on the spot to the bid and got on the books to have the work itself done within a week and a half. Received a follow up quote via email as requested. They showed up right on time and knocked out the entire job - trimming limbs overhanging our roof on 3 huge oaks and one large poplar - in 3 hours. The team was professional and no-nonsense - they got right to work, knocked out the job, and cleaned up everything lickity split. It was clear that they knew what they were doing - they trimmed the trees in such a way that they left a nice looking canopy and preserved as much of a natural look as possible while still clearing out all of the overhanging limbs from above the roof. This is in stark contrast to what you'll see when the power company clears trees from above ground lines - a straight vertical chop that will leave trees looking totally convoluted and unnatural afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and have already recommended them to a neighbor who was asking about the work.

I went through Angie's List and called just about every tree company in our area and could not believe the differences in not only service but also price. Some of them didn't even bother to return my phone call which definitely shows a lack of customer service. I did have one other company do an estimate and they wanted almost 4 times the price of what Davis Tree Service quoted for the exact same services. Ty not only returned my call in a timely manner, they came out and did the estimate and work when they said they would and we could not be happier in regards to the quality of the work that they did. I would highly recommend this company!!!

I hired Davis Tree Service because I saw their quality work when they were chosen to remove a large and historic tree at the library in downtown Franklin. They showed great teamwork, safety, and competence. When they cut down 9 trees in my yard yesterday, they came with the same courtesy, competence, safety, and amazing efficiency. I had some rare trees from Japan in my landscape just feet from where several trees had to come down and Ty was able to clear the trees with no damage to the vulnerable plants. They did a great job, combining attention to detail with a focus on safety, from tree top to mulching and clean up. Highly recommended.

Had a few companies quote to take down a large cottonwood, and Davis Tree Service was not only the best price but scheduled me in on the spot. Guys were fast and did great work. Would highly recommend.

Awesome! Ty knows their business. I came to find out I did not have a Bradford Pear but a Cleveland Pear. The difference was explained and a recommendation was given. The price was very good for what I needed. The appointment was set for the following week at 7:45AM and the guys were there at 7:45AM. We are very pleased!

Ty and his crew removed a very large sycamore tree from a very small yard and did a great job! Showed up when they said, communicated well and cleaned up after spending an extra day and a half removing the stump and roots. Recommend and would definitely use again.

From my first contact with Davis Tree Service, they were very responsive, showed up on time to review the work and provide an estimate and fit me into their schedule quickly. All of the debris was cleaned up nicely. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I highly recommend Davis Tree Service if you need trees removed. Ty showed up promptly to give us an estimate which we found to be very reasonable. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. On the day scheduled, he and his crew arrived on time and worked together efficiently and quickly to remove one Bradford Pear and two other tall trees from our fenced-in backyard. We hired him to come back and remove an overgrown holly and maple tree from our front yard. We were very pleased with the quality and value we received from Davis Tree Service.

Crew was well organized, showed up a little early and went right to work. Very fast and efficient. Cleaned up after the work was completed. Will use service again.
